Recent Projects

1Homer Harbormaster's Project is a 4,778 SF administration and operations office building over looking the harbor with over slope offices and a public access boardwalk.


2Homer Fire Station #2 - Skyline Dr. is a new 2,750 SF emergency response fire station.


3 Homer Transfer Building - a new 6,000 SF steel structure solid waste transfer facility.


4Homer Restroom Facilities are four public restrooms constructed around the city of Homer. Two are located on Pioneer Avenue and the other two are located on the Homer Spit.


5Central Peninsula Hospital Operating Room #4 is a new 650 SF operating room at the Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, AK.


6Homer City Hall is a 4000 SF addition of new public use and city personnel office space combined with renovations of the original 9000 SF building. Renovation included new room configurations, interior and exterior finishes, energy efficient lighting and complete building wide high efficiency hydronic heating system.


7The UAA Kachemak Bay Campus Classroom is a 7,433 SF expansion to the Homer campus. The new “Bayview Hall” incorporates into its design new classrooms, including a complete nursing training room, faculty offices, administration, student study, and computer rooms. Expansion of school parking and integration of public pedestrian traffic between the campus and adjacent City Hall properties.


8The Lodges at Land’s End. 6 each 7,500 SF, four story, tri-unit condominium buildings.


Project controls and Contract Administration

As the above experience and project references indicate, SNSC is qualified in the areas of value engineering, estimating, cost control, quality control review, and bid release schedules. SNSC has also demonstrated through our safety record that we are familiar with the necessities of safety, and risk management. We have a long history working with subcontractors in our area.

Having worked on projects funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, State of Alaska, ALFC/HUD, Kenai Peninsula Borough, and City of Homer we are experienced in the procurement requirements unique to each. In short, we believe our work history speaks to the fact that we are experienced in handling the day to day needs that projects require to be successful.
